Laurie Glencross:
Associate professor of Music, Millikin University, teaches flute, music theory, aural
skills, and coaches chamber ensembles including flute choir. She is Principal Flutist of
the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra and of the faculty Woodwind Quintet. She
received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Manhattan School of Music
where she studied with Harold Bennett, long-time Principal Flutiest of the Metropolitan
Opera Orchestra. In 2000 she completed a Doctor of Music Degree from Florida State
University studying with Charles Delaney.
